CalvinJONES(Landlord The Kings Arms, Llansaint) Peacefully on Tuesday 27th September 2022 at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen surrounded by his loving family, following an illness he has borne with wonderful courage and dignity, Calvin aged 60 years, sadly passed away. Funeral on Friday 21st October 2022, Public Service at Tabernacle Chapel of Rest, Sea View Terrace, Burry Port at 11.15am followed by Cremation Service at Llanelli Crematorium at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in Calvin's memory if desired to The Friends of Glangwili Hospital c/o Funeral Director Alicia Smith of Autumn Leaf Independent Family Funeral Directors The Old Vestry Tabernacle, Seaview Terrace, Burry Port, Carms, SA16 0EN. It’s now 2 years old mate and still comes as a shock to us that we can’t give you a call for a laugh as we used to. Easily my best job was working with you mate and enjoying a few Aussie beers after, still miss those times. Not forgotten mate.

I met Calvin and Giulia in Nigeria, Bonny Island. We had a great working time and friendship time together which I will never forget.

Myself and Mark bought a property in Llansaint in 2019. Within a short period of time, we got to know the people in the village through the wonderful friendly space of The Kings Arms. Calvin was particularly welcoming of us and as we got to know him, we considered him to be a true friend. We feel a great deal of sadness at his passing and we will miss this giant-hearted man who has meant so much to us and Llansaint. RIP Calvin.
