Michael EdwardJONES10/09/1937 Of Southwark Close, Yateley On Thursday 1st September 2022, Michael E Jones passed away, aged 84 years. Loving husband to Jean Jones for 55 years and father of three Robert, Linda and Debbie. Michael lived and worked in Yateley as a professional brick layer for over 50 years, making many friends as well as lifetime comradeship with work colleagues. He was instrumental in the restoration work of the village hall. He enjoyed socialising in the village pubs and will be best remembered for his sense of humour, fierce determination and generous spirit. Since Jean passed Michael's main interests were his family; 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, spending time with friends, gardening, watching on TV all types of sports especially football and horse racing. His most loved TV program was Strictly Come Dancing which he enjoyed with his sisters Ede and Maureen sharing their passion of dance and music. He loved holidays abroad and seeing the world. The cremation will be held at Easthampstead Park Crematorium On the 7th October 2022 Time 1-30pm. In lieu of giving flowers, the family ask that those who are able instead to give a donation to the Macmillan Team at the Phyllis's Tuckwell Hospice Farnham.
