Nancy EvelynJONES27.5.1916 - 26.3.2008 It is with great sadness that the family announce the death of Nancy, aged 91 who passed away peacefully at Aberdare Hospital. Nancy will be dearly missed by husband Ieuan, son Alun, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren Taryn, Gareth, David and Lauren and great-grandchildren Alex, Adam, Ava, Jacob and Oliver, she was greatly loved and cherished by all who knew her. Nancy lived all her life in Twynrodyn until the past 2 years where she was a resident at Ysguborwen Nursing Home, Aberdare. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all family, friends and neighbours for their support at this difficult time and for all cards, donations recieved towards Alzheimer's, messages and flowers sent. Thanks also to those who attended the funeral at High Street Chapel and Llwydcoed Crematorium on April 2 too many to mention by name. A special thanks to all the staff at Ysguborwen Nursing Home, Prince Charles Hospital, Aberdare General Hospital and Merthyr RFC. Thanks to the Bearers Gareth Oates, Ross Hadley, Richie Davies, Mel Pike, Neil Wilson and Phillip Powell. Thanks also to the Ministers Howard Griffiths and Gareth Daniel for carrying out the service with great dignity. The funeral arrangements were carried out with care and respect by Alfred James & Sons. Nancy's ashes are to be interred at Cefn Cemetery with her mother and father which was always her wish, at a date yet to be arranged. Nancy will be forever in our hearts, too dearly loved to be forgotten.
