DuncanJOHNSTONESuddenly at his home on Monday, March 8, Mr Duncan Cash Johnstone (DJ), aged 38, of Huncoat. The dearly loved son of Lynne and Duncan. DJ also leaves his adored children, grandchild, brothers and sister, partner, nieces and nephews, cousins and many dear relatives and many good friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. DJ attended Peel Park Primary and later went on to study at St Christopher’s High School. Following his school years, DJ signed up to serve his country in the Army, serving with the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment for nine years. During his time in the Army he travelled around the world and completed two active tours in Basra, Iraq and Afghanistan. He was always proud of his service for his country and the good friends he made along the way. Following his service, DJ began working for the family firm Wolfenden Farm Animal Feeds, where he became a popular and well known face within the company. Wherever DJ went he was the life and soul of the party and could talk to anyone about anything; he had endless friends and loved to spend time socialising with them all. An avid Liverpool supporter, DJ always kept up to date with his team. Most of all he was an adored and loyal family man who always looked forward to spending time with his children and the rest of the family.
