Peacefully in hospital with his loving family by his side on Monday 16th June 2025 aged 81 years, John.

Beloved husband of the late Pauline, Much loved dad of Sharon, Susie and stepdad of Elaine and Joseph, Loving brother of Margaret, Des, Bertha, Colin and the late Bob, Nicky, Tommy and Barry. Cherished and proud grandad of Johnathan, Liam, Jade, Katie, Kyle, Jamie-Leigh, Amber, Bella, Darren and great grandad of J.J, Hope, Ruby, Orla and Bonnie.

Would family and friends please meet for funeral service and cremation at the West Road Crematorium Chapel on Thursday 3rd July at 2.00pm.

All welcome afterwards for refreshments to the Slatyford Tennant's Club, Pooley Road, Newcastle upon Tyne NE5 2SS

Much loved and never forgotten.

One year ago today God called your name
And it was your time to fly
It broke my heart to watch you go
And left me wondering why?

As months passed I felt you close,
Like you never really left.
I feel your laughter in times of joy
And your hugs when I'm distressed.

This year is just the first of many That you'll be missed each passing day, But I know we'll reunite in heaven
And then forever we shall stay.
