AlexINGRAMJean would like to thank everyone for all the lovely flowers, cards and letters of support given to the family. To Ayr United Supporters Club for the moving tribute they gave Alex at the home match on 5th February. To the people who stood in the pouring rain and applauded when the cortege left on his final farewell from Somerset Park. Also to Rev. David Ness for his friendship at this sad time, to Matthew the organist for the lovely music he played throughout the day and to the organizers, both at Ayr: St. Columba Church and Masonhill Crematorium. To Barry Whalen and staff of Barry Whalen Funeral Directors for their kindness, support and professionalism, piper Bryce McCulloch for piping Alex on his final journey, Craig Brown and Graeme McKinstry for their moving tributes and to Bill Costley and his staff at Lochgreen House Hotel. Thanks also to the staff at Dundonald Care Home for caring for Alex. To all the people who paid their respects at Ayr: St. Columba Church and Masonhill Crematorium, you have helped us through this sad time, and for the love shown to Alex. The retiral collection of £915 has been donated to Alzheimer's Scotland. Thank you, Jean and Family.
