All the simple joys of home give me sweet content. It was you and you alone, who taught me what they meant. Every time I think of home, I give thanks for you. Picture someone in the gloaming, someone dear and true. Just the mention of your name brings you to my side. Life can never be the same without your love to guide me. Near to me or far apart, all life's journey through. Now and forever dearest heart, I give thanks for you. Love you always Sylv This is for you Dad This is for you, the father we love, for the one who has cared all these years, but has never heard enough about how much we care. So this is for you, for the one who has helped us through all our childhood fears and failures, and turned all that he could into successes and dreams. For the man who is a wonderful example of what more men should be. For the person whose devotion to his family is marked by gentle strength and guidance, and whose love of life, sense of direction and down-to-earth wisdom make more sense to us now than nearly any other thing we've learned. If you never knew how much we respected you, we want you to know it now, Dad. And if you never knew how much we admire you... let us just say that we think you're the best father that any family ever had. Memories are a gift to treasure, ours of you will last forever. To a precious Grandad Did you feel us kiss you, did you hear us cry, did you know our hearts were breaking as we said goodbye. It's hard to hold back the tears when someone speaks your name, we will always cherish you, nothing will be the same. You closed your eyes and fell asleep, God eased your pain and gave you peace. Of all the precious gifts in life, however big or small, having you as our Grandad was the greatest gift of all. Memories we have of you will stay in our hearts forever.
