BrianHYATTPeacefully passed on Tuesday, June 15 with his devoted wife Sheila by his side, aged 88. Brian, dearly loved by all, leaves his sons Tim, Steven, Mark and daughter Christine, grandchildren and family in Australia, Telford, as well as Accrington. Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Brian served three years National Service in the Army, then going on to serve in the RAF, a total of 28 years service. When he retired from the Army, he spent time back in Australia before moving back to England where he met Sheila, and later married and gained four more sons, Michael, Roy, Wayne and Mark. Brian and Sheila have been together 34 years. They loved long holidays in Spain and caravanning; they even lived in a caravan in Great Harwood and Read for a time. Brian, daft as a brush and lived life to the full. A funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Tuesday, June 29 at 1pm. Family flowers only please but donations if so desired to The Royal British Legion, as Brian was a member. Funeral director: Hillside Funeral Directors and Monumental Masons, Accrington.
