Stewart GeorgeHUNTStewart George Hunt of the Downs at Nicholas, passed away peacefully at home on 10 April 2026, following a brave and determined fight against pancreatic cancer.
A devoted husband to Therese (Topsy), Stewart was a much‑loved father to Becky and Nicholas, and a proud grandfather to Thomas and Oliver. Stewart worked in Human Resources for Cardiff Council for many years, retiring in 2008, and was respected for professionalism, fairness and dedication.
Stewart will be remembered for quiet strength, steadfast love of family, and the courage shown throughout illness. Stewart will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by family, friends, and all whose lives were touched.
Resting at J.Pidgeon & Son, 539 Cowbridge Road East, Victoria Park, Cardiff until the service at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel on Tuesday 19th May 2026 at 1.30pm. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Marie Curie.
