TomHUGHESOf LLwyn, Bontnewydd (formerly of Llaingro, Llanrug) passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 1st, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, aged 83. He was the son of the late John and Nell Hughes, loving best friend to Sylvia for 56 years. Proud, kind dad to Aled, Dawn, Wendy, Barry and Hazel. Dear father-in-law to Carolyn, Adrian, Gwyndaf, Nicky and Tony. Proud, mischievous taid to Mari, Megan Rose, Guto, Niamh, Norrie, Poppy, Cara and Maisey. Caring brother to Raymond and the late Mair. Public service held at St Michael's Church, Llanrug, May 5th conducted by Rev. Dr Carol Hughes, the organist was Dr W Munro. Tom was then laid to rest in the church cemetery. Our thanks to Doctors, District Nurses, Hafan Iechyd, especially to the carers of Gofal Bro, Hebog Ward and Renal Unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd. To Iolo and all the staff at Roberts and Owen Funeral Directors for their dignity and warmth, much appreciated by the family. The generous donation of ?2812 will be equally shared between Ty Gobaith, Conway and Renal unit, Ysbyty Gwynedd in Toms Memory. Thank you so much.
