Joan Georgina ParnhamHOWEKnown to many as Miss Joan Thomas, founder and, for 50 years, Principal of Rodney School, Kirklington. Also renowned in her early life for The Joan Thomas School of Dance in Retford and Southwell. A former President of the Newark Amateur Operatic Society. She died peacefully in her 102nd year at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham on 20th November 2018, after a short final illness. Wife of the late Frank Howe and mother of Victoria and RoseAnna. The funeral service will take place at Southwell Minster on Monday 17th December at 1pm. No flowers please.
