GordonHOULSBY(North Shields). Peacefully at home on 15th December, aged 86 years, Gordon, beloved husband of Joan, father of Mark and Jane. Would friends please meet for service at Cullercoats Methodist Church on Monday 22nd December at 10.00am, followed by interment at Earsdon Cemetery at 11.00am. No flowers by request, but donations for North-East Humanists (Isaac Newton School, Uganda) c/o R.J. Ryland Funeral Services, Cullercoats. All welcome back to the Grand Hotel, Tynemouth.

Its been quite sometime but being out of touch, thought we'd add our condolences. Kept sending X Mas Cards for sometime since there wasnt a revert - had a hunch this wasn't sounding good & eventually ran into this site. We are saddened to hear the news of Gordon’s passing. He was a kind and gentle soul, with a rare sense of humour that always brightened up the room. We have fond memories of our friendship over the years, including Mark & Jane's visit to Mumbai . He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Gordon.
