David RichardHOLLISDave sadly passed away at home in Alvaston with beloved wife Diane by his side and surrounded by loving family on the 26th April 2025, aged 69 years.

Beloved son of the late Brenda and Dennis Hollis. A deeply cherished husband, a devoted dad & grandad, also a much loved brother & brother-in-law, a dearest uncle, cousin & friend. A wonderful brave man so greatly missed.

Dave was a well respected, friendly Driving Instructor with his successful School based in the Alvaston area of Derby before his short retirement.

A funeral service will be held on Friday 20th June at 1:00pm. All are welcome to St. Michael's, Alvaston Parish Church, Church Street, Alvaston, Derby, DE24 0PR.

Family flowers only please, In memory of Dave, if desired, donations in lieu for Treetops Hospice Care may be given at the service or online: tribute.treetopshospice.org.uk/davidrichardhollis A.W. Lymn

Dave one year has passed since you sadly had to leave us, but you will always be in our hearts.You were a much loved and loving member of my family after marrying my Sister all those many years ago.
A wonderful Brother- in-law to me and a loving Uncle to my Daughter. You are so sadly missed, rest in peace now and god bless you xx

Dave, although the pain of missing you becomes unbearable at times, I try so very hard to carry on with your plan (our plan).
You are no longer physically at my side, you do live within my heart.
I have so many beautiful memories of you that give me the strength to face my remaining days without your loving arms around me.
Rest in peace my wonderful brave Husband. God bless you xx.

My dearest Dave, Today should have been a great celebration “your 70th Birthday” and instead of kissing you I’ve spent every breath and heartbeat wishing you were still here beside me. There are no words to really describe how much I love and miss you “my wondeful Husband who truly understood me”.
