Patricia RosemaryHOLLANDFollowing a short illness on December 29, Pat, aged 88 years, of Great Harwood, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

The devoted wife of the late Jack, a loving mum to Michael, Lynda, Neil and Rachel, dear mother-in-law to Val, Carol and Neil, a cherished gran to Ian, Jill, James, Chris, Emily Charlotte, Sarah, Daniel, Jonathan and Edward and a treasured great-gran to Lewi, Henri, Elsie, Albert, Jack, Rob, Sam, Will, Rowan and Juniper.
Pat was also a much loved relative and good friend to many.

A true social butterfly, Pat loved to be busy and was always on the go. She had a real zest for life and made the most of each day. A keen dancer, she loved stepping on to the dance floor enjoying line dancing, sequence and ballroom dancing. It was through her love of dancing that Pat met her beloved husband Jack, a passion they shared throughout their marriage. Holidays were important to Pat, from family camping and caravanning holidays to dancing holidays and winter holidays in Tenerife with Jack. Pat began her working life as a telephonist at the GPO, she later worked in various office roles, part-time whilst raising her family. She had many hobbies and interests including pottery, card making, beading, reading, playing the ukulele, cards, dominoes and board games.
She was a keen gardener, always ensuring her garden bloomed with an array of colours throughout the spring and summer months. She generously gave her time volunteering in the hospice shop, talking newspaper and hospital radio. A devoted family lady, Pat always looked forward to gathering everybody together for a family celebration and was always immaculately turned out. She loved shopping and would happily spend hours browsing in charity shops hunting for bargains and loved visiting garden centres.
Pat was loved and cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered for her warmth, generosity and zest for life.

A funeral service will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, January 14 at 3pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations are being gratefully received in Pat's memory on behalf of North West Air Ambulance and East Lancashire Hospice.
