Barbara MaryHODSONFormer Proprietor of Bond St Video Barbara aged 80 years of Macclesfield, peacefully passed away on Friday 23rd December 2022. Dearly loved mum of Esta and Lindsay, loving nana of Charlie and Tilly and a much loved cousin of Alan. Barbara will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. The funeral will take place on Wednesday 18th January 2023 with service and committal at Macclesfield Crematorium at 10.45am. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent for The Macmillan Nurses. What lovely tributes for Barbara. Although I did not know her personally, I do know her son, Lindsay, who has inherited her lovely caring qualities. My thoughts are with him at this very sad time. God bless you Lindsay and RIP Barbara

Barbara and I have been friends since primary school. She was the only one with a bicycle and we all took turns learning how to ride it in Roewood Lane. Such fun and so many memories over the years.
Rest in peace, Barbara. You won't be forgotten.

Barbara will be fondly remembered by myself and Lindsay's friends for her grace and generosity in not only opening her home to us but also welcoming us to spend many summer holidays in her caravan in Wales. A kind and gentle lady x

Barbara will be remembered by me as such a kind hearted and generous woman. She would roll out the red carpet any time of day or evening to provide snacks and have a laugh with her son’s group of friends. Bond Street Video was a Macclesfield institution!!
