JohnHINDLEMr John Hindle, of Ward Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, passed away on Thursday, July 1, aged 85. Having worked as a farmer, following his retirement John spent most of his time at his allotment in Oswaldtwistle, up on the Heys, accompanied by his dog Elsa. He bred chickens and geese, and also grew fruit and vegetables. He leaves his beloved wife Eileen, who he was married to for 61 years. Dad to Lorraine, Trevor and Yvonne, Grandad to Darren, Kirsty, John, Samantha, Kyle, Nathan and Mackenzie. A funeral service will be held at 10.30am on Monday, July 19, at Immanuel Church, Oswaldtwistle, administered by Rev. Martin Joss, followed by committal. Flowers are welcome, and if desired, donations can be made to Parkinson’s UK. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services, 336 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle.
