Carol EmilyHILLPeacefully in hospital on 30th October 2018, Carol aged 74 years of Clayton-le-Moors and formerly of Oswaldtwistle. The devoted wife of the late Ken, much loved mum of David, Louise, Sarah and Kennie, dear mother-in-law of Karen, Mark, Simon and Katie, cherished grandma of Karla, Liam, Casey, Sonny, Joel, Scarlett and Alice, great grandma Ellissa-Rose, and also a good friend to many. Carol was a former wages clerk at Stanhill Ring Mill and Gaskill Carpets. A life loving, and sociable lady, Carol lived in Torrevieja, Spain for 9 years where she enjoyed the sunshine, singing karaoke in the bars, and playing pétanque and darts. She loved family and friends visiting her there but would always come home at Christmas to be with family. Carol returned home in March due to ill-health. Carol's funeral service took place at Accrington Crematorium.
