HILLHILLGeorge Edward All family would like to express their thanks to everyone who attended the "Celebration and Memorial of George's life" also beautiful cards received and donations too. Thank-you's must go out to all the following:- Staff at Blyth Country House Nursing Home, Carers from Lindum who supported us in enabling our Father to remain in his own home for all but four months of his last years of a very long life - (especially Jason), E.Hurton for such professional handling of funeral arrangements - "The horses were magnificent". Floral tributes from J.Norman and Son, "More than Flowers" - (all so natural) also help from Flower Boutique (wheat!). Malcolm's Taxis for always "being there" to reach Dad wherever he was. The Elms Hotel for allowing us at such short notice to use their premises and the buffet later - this venue helped to add special thoughts and memories to a sad occasion and to remember Dad in the way he always asked us to, summed up in this poem of his choice:- When I have died Cry for me a little Think of me sometimes But not too much Think of me now and again As I was in life At some moments it's pleasant to recall But not for long Leave me in Peace And I shall leave you in Peace And while you live Let your thoughts be with the living.
