John WilliamHEATHPeacefully at rest on Wednesday 26th August 2026, whilst in the loving care of Heyfields Nursing Home, Bill aged 93 years, born at Great Gate, now reunited with his beloved wife Margaret and his old mates.

A unique one off father of Phil and Janette, special father-in-law of Chris and Keith, kind grandpa of Paul and Eleanor and a very treasured brother of David, Ellen and Iris.

Bill will be sadly missed by all his loving family, many friends and the farming community.

The family wish to express their gratitude for the fantastic care Bill received during his stay at Heyfields Nursing Home and to J P Keates and Son Funeral Directors for making the whole process seamless.

A service to celebrate Bill's 93 years of life will take place at Stafford Crematorium on Friday 11th September at 11am.

Would all those wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium and please feel free to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, even your work overalls.

No flowers by request please, donations preferred in memory of Bill to Prostrate Cancer Research and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
