EdwardHAWORTHMr Edward Haworth, of Mather Avenue, Accrington, died on Thursday, October 14, aged 87. Ted, as he was known, passed away peacefully in hospital after a long illness. After leaving the Army aged 21, Ted had numerous jobs. Eventually he went on to work for himself in second hand and antique furniture. Ted was also well known for singing in Working Men’s Clubs throughout Lancashire. He also liked to keep fit and loved his holidays in Benidorm, Spain. Ted leaves his wife Mary, and sons Eddy, Bob, and Tony. He also leaves many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ted will be cremated at Accrington. His funeral arrangements are yet to be confirmed. Family flowers only please. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington.
