Ian, devoted husband of the late Judy, of Llansannor, Vale of Glamorgan, the beloved eldest son of Bruce and the late Sheila and cherished by Lilian. He was ever the adored big brother of Philip and Michael and sisters-in-law Tara and Emma and will be remembered with affection by Andrea and Gareth, to Rhiannon, David and Natalie. He was the greatest uncle ever - always ready with new adventures and fun, He will be remembered with much love by Christine and her son Will, his father-in-law John and all Judy's Hickmott family will miss him greatly.
His memorial will be seen in the treasured buildings he restored and preserved for future generations. The restoration of Llanelli House and the conservation of The Brangwyn Hall and Swansea Guildhall are just some of his many past projects and there are many ongoing.
Friends please meet on Wednesday Feb 11 at Coychurch Crematorium for the Celebration of Ian's life and his funeral service at 1.15pm, followed by light refreshments, chats and rembembrances at St Mary's Golf Club, Pencoed, CF35 5EA.
