William StuartHANKEY(Stuart) Peacefully at rest on Sunday October 13th 2019 at the R.S.U.H. Stuart aged 97 years of Lightwood. Dearly beloved husband of the late Elizabeth, much loved and loving dad of Lisbeth and Helen. The dear father-in-law of Chris and Neil. Devoted grandpa of Simon. Stuart will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends and especially by Luke. The funeral cortege will leave his home in Lightwood on Wednesday November 6th for a short service at Bradwell Crematorium at 12.40pm followed by a service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Stuart's life at St James Church, Longton at 1.30pm. Would relatives kindly accept this the only intimation. Friends wishing to attend please meet at either Bradwell or the church. Family flowers only please. My condolences to the family and so pleased that he lived to such a grand age. I worked for Stuart at Duke Street for quite a few years and I never knew him to raise his voice or swear. Notwithstanding that, he always managed to get his message across. A very well respected and liked man. May he Rest In Peace.
