MargaretGUTHRIEOn Tuesday, January 19, Peggy, aged 95, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Barnfold Cottage Rest Home, Oswaldtwistle, and she was formerly of Milnshaw Gardens, Accrington. Peggy was born in Ireland in 1925, one of seven children. In 1947 after marrying Jack Mulcahy, who had served in the Royal Navy, they moved back to Accrington. Peggy is the loved mother of John and Michael, dear mother-inlaw of Jean, and a loving grandma and great-grandma. She worked as a winder at Hameldon Mill, Accrington and Vine Mill, Oswaldtwistle. Peggy finished her working career due to ill health at Whitewell Dairies, Accrington as a canteen assistant. Funeral service and cremation will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Wednesday, February 3 at 10.20am. No flowers by request please.
