MaryGREETHAM(1933 -2026)
Mary Greetham, aged 92, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside on 9th June 2026. Reunited with her beloved husband, Gordon.
A dedicated nurse, Mary spent her life caring for others with compassion, gentleness, and unwavering commitment - qualities that touched countless lives and earned her deep respect from colleagues, patients, friends, and family alike.
Mary was a beloved mum to David and Maureen, and Richard and Joanne. She was a devoted grandma to Paul and Sarah, Gemma and Andrew, Steven and Gemma, and Samantha and Matt. She was also a proud great-grandma to ten wonderful great-grandchildren who cherished her dearly.
Known for her warmth, humour, and kindness, Mary was a good friend to many more. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on 7th July 2026 at 10:30 am at Grimsby Crematorium where family and friends will gather to honour her life.
Family flowers only please, donations for St Andrews Hospice will be collected as Mary volunteered there for over 20 years.
After the service there will be a gathering at the Wheatsheaf function room, where all are welcome to attend to share their memories of Mary.
