SueGREENIt is with great sadness that we announce the death our Mum, beloved mother of Duncan, Andrew, Jenny, Chris, Nicola and David.
Sue passed away peacefully at Westlands Care Home in Teignmouth at the age of 101. She lived independently for over 40 years in the beautiful village of Stokeingnhead, Devon, and she loved her life there. She had an adventurous life, including her role in WW2 when she was based in Ceylon/Sri Lanka intercepting Japanese messages to be sent to the code breakers at Bletchley. We would like to thank all the people in Stokeinteignhead who supported her and enriched her life, and also to all the carers at Westlands who looked after her so well.
The funeral will take place at 1:30pm on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at St Andrew's Church, Stokeinteignhead.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Research UK or Donkey Sanctuary Sidmouth.
Sue has requested "no black".
