AnneGREENOf your charity, pray for the repose of the soul of Anne Green, who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, at the grand age of 96, on 13th November 2025, at the RSUH, with loving family by her side. Formerly of Clayton and Cliff Vale, Anne is reunited with her late, loving husband and soulmate, Dennis (previous wife for 23 years of the late Harold Nolan). Much loved and loving Mum of Chris, Gill, Bev and Jason Craig, and caring mother in law to Eric, Pete, Andy and Rachael. Devoted Nan to the late Donna Louise, Paul, Thomas and Beth. Stepmother to Dawn, Andrew and Leanne. Anne was the eldest daughter of the late Arthur and Annie Boden of Cliff Vale, a treasured sister to her 10 siblings, and special aunty to her many nieces and nephews. A dear cousin and friend to many, Anne will be very much missed by all.
The family of Anne wish to thank all staff at Abbeywell Court nursing home for making Anne's last few years comfortable and safe. Anne was happy with you and all staff became her family too. Particular thanks to Anna, Meljo and Juby for years of loving care for our lovely Mum.
Funeral service to take place on Monday 8th December 2025 at Holy Trinity Church, Newcastle at 1pm followed by burial at Keele Cemetery 2pm.
Family & friends kindly meet at church.
