Suddenly, but peacefully at rest on 26th November 2025, aged 87 years.
Devoted husband of the late Ada. Much loved dad of Derek and Denise. Dear father in law of David and Denise. Doting grandad of Eloise, Matthew and Aimee. Great Grandad 'Old' grandad to the much loved Ayda, Brodie, Carter and Drey.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.
Funeral service to be held at St Gabriel's Church, Heaton on Tuesday 6th January at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at Heaton Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers to Tiny Lives.
All welcome to celebrate the life of Derek at the PTE club, Millers Road, Byker, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE6 2XP, after the service.
For those who are unable to attend the funeral service, all are welcome afterwards to celebrate and reminisce Dereks life.
