AlanGORDONGORDON (Killingworth Village). Alan and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy at this very difficult time. Most grateful thanks also must be extended to all the wonderful Macmillan carers, to the staff at Ward 38 of the Newcastle General Hospital and to the staff at the Marie Curie Hospice who did so much to assist during Patsy's last hours. The efforts of Dr. Sprake and her colleagues-especially Nurse Smailes-were admirable throughout. Finally, thanks to the Funeral Director, Barry Todd for his unfailing help, courtesy and efficiency and to Canon Connolly for his sensitive and comforting handling of the committal service.
