Peacefully at rest at home on the 9th January 2026 after a long illness fought with dignity. Bill aged 73 years was a beloved father to Scott and Emma, doting grandfather to Lukas and dearest partner to Linda.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A service to celebrate Bill's life will take place at Rainsbrook Crematorium on Tuesday the 27th of January at 3pm. Would this wishing to attend please meet directly at the Crematorium.

In lieu of flowers we ask to consider a donation to Myton Hospice whose support and care allowed Bill to pass peacefully at home as he wished.

Been trying to get hold off you for yrs and now it's too late what a man u was you always had time for and managed to look after me when I was in young offenders even taking me to Wales twice and the only lad who did go twice because you trusted me . I've never been back since I left in 2003 I'm married now 3 kids mortgage and a good job at 45 . Rip Mr Gibson sorry I missed u
