ElizabethGEOGHEGANSister Gertude On 23rd March 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of her Religious community, Late of Evron, Brinnington, Stockport and formerly of Ringsend, Dublin, Ireland. Predeceased by her parents, sisters Pheobe, Deirdre, Kathleen and Dolores, brothers Tom, Jim and David. Deeply mourned by her Religious Community of the Sisters of Evron. She will be sadly missed by her brothers John and George, her sisters-in-law Mary, Mary and Mary, her nieces, nephews and cousins in the extended Geoghegan families along with many friends and the Parishioners at Saint Bernadette's Brinnington. Sister Gertrude's reception in to Saint Bernadette's Church Brinnington will take place on Thursday 8th April 2021 at 6.30pm followed by Requiem Mass on Friday 9th April at 10.30am followed by burial in Highfield Cemetery. Both celebrations are by invitation only due to Covid 19 regulations. For those who would have wished to attend the Funeral Mass can be followed at youtu.be/hyphfU7zU48. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in favour of the Sisters of Evron Mission in Africa. Rest in Peace.
