I worked with Steve at the EA. Although I wasn’t directly in his team, I got to know him well through the many sports and social events, many of which were organised by Steve himself! Over the years, we went for drinks, dinners, bottomless brunches, and on one particularly memorable night, Steve somehow managed to convince the whole group to end up in Hoochie Coochie. Much to my surprise, it turned out to be a great night, and very “Steve” in the best way possible.

Steve was such a character. He had this infectious energy that lit up any room he walked into, and he never failed to put a smile on my face. He had a real gift for making people feel comfortable and welcome, no matter who they were. Steve had a unique way of bringing people together. I honestly believe that, without him, I wouldn't have met some of the amazing friends I now have at work. That’s just who he was, someone who created connection and community wherever he went.

You leave behind so many happy memories and a lot of people who will always be grateful to have known you. You will be extremely missed. At every future Sports and Social event, I’ll be sure to raise a glass – To Steve!

Steve you were a fantastic colleague! One of the friendliest people in the office, lifting everyone's spirits with your humour and smile. You were always willing to chip in and lend a hand, a real team player! It was an honour to know and work with you, even if only for a short time. We'll miss you, rest in peace.
