EdwardFOXSuddenly, on Friday, February 4, whilst at work as a care assistant, Edward Fox, aged 64, sadly passed away. He was the eldest child of Edward and Clarice, born in Scotland. He was the much loved brother of Janet, Gordon, Sandra, and the late Douglas. He was also a dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was a very kind person, who will be missed by many. He attended Accrington Grammar School, and was a born intellectual. Edward could be seen regularly walking between clients’ homes with a book in his hands; he was an avid reader, enjoying a wide range of novels, but he mostly liked science fiction. He regularly attended quiz nights at Baxenden Conservative Club, and usually came away having won a prize. He also enjoyed a flutter on the horses, and taking trips to the races. He started his working life at Baxenden Chemicals and in his spare time was a DJ at The Broadway, and The Cock & Bull pubs. Later in life he entered the care profession, and became a live-in carer, which he loved. He was highly skilled at his job, and loved meeting people from all walks of life. The funeral will be held on Friday, February 18, at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium, led by Neil Overton. Family flowers only please. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services, Accrington
