Hazel died peacefully in County Hospital on 9th April with her children by her side.

Hazel grew up in Wellington, Somerset and had lived in Stafford since the 1970s. Hazel's kindness, generosity and genuine interest in others, meant she touched the hearts of everyone who knew her.

She was a loving and much-loved mother to Sarah and James and Grandma to Isaak, Helena and Oliver. She was a devoted wife to Roger who died in 2012 and a beloved sister to Margaret, auntie to Myra and Owen and mother-in-law to Paddy and Rosie. Hazel's caring nature inspired real love in family, friends, neighbours, colleagues and many others. She will be forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life takes place at 11am on Thursday 7th May at Stafford Crematorium. For those unable to attend, it will be available online. Family are asking for donations to The Stroke Association instead of flowers please.
