Special thanks to Ward 32 Ninewells Hospital, District and Marie Curie Nurses for their care and support, to Mons Hendry for his visits and fitting tribute, to Marie Devine and all the choir at St John's RC Church for their outstanding singing at the Requiem Mass, to the Pennycook family for all their help with funeral arrangements and to the many who paid their last respects to Desmond at the church and crematorium and donated so generously to the collection for the Marie Curie Nurses.
