Carole AnnFIELDINGSunrise 4 February 1946 Sunset 16 October 2025 Aged 79 years

The family of the late Carole Ann Fielding sadly announce her passing.

Carole was described as a funny woman with a sharp sense of humour and a few choice words to go with it. She was the best mum and nan in the world, completely devoted to her family and adored by all who knew her.

She loved her Sunday bingo, her cakes and good food even if her diabetes said otherwise. Carole never smoked or drank but enjoyed life to the fullest.

Everyone in her neighbourhood knew and loved her. She married her childhood sweetheart Tosh, who sadly passed away nine years ago. Together they shared a lifetime of love and laughter.

Carole loved listening to the radio, especially Billy Butler, and she loved her holidays from Spain to Dubai always snapping selfies at every landmark to proudly show off when she got home.

She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she often said Rocky was far too handsome to be a boxer, and she loved her time spent with all her family in Dubai and Spain, always talking so highly of how they all spoiled her rotten.

Known affectionately as Nanny Tosh, Carole was truly the salt of the earth. She is now reunited with her beloved daughter also Carole and her husband Tosh.

Carole's final farewell will take place on Wednesday 5 November 2025 for 11.00am at St Albert The Great Catholic Church 31 Hollow Croft L28 4EA

Followed by a committal for 12.30pm at St Helens Crematorium, Rainford Road WA10 6DF

The family welcome flowers in Carole's memory all white only please.

So sad to have watched this very special friend go through what she has in the past year, but all through it I have never heard her complain she was a very brave and amazing woman who was loved and admired by so many, her wonderful family and friends past and present. Everyone knew Carol she was a force of nature, kind and thoughtful to everyone, but if she didn’t approve of you she would let you now ! But once you where her friend you where a friend for life near or far.
I am so honoured to have been one of those friends, and I will always remember her from when I first moved in to the then Cantril Farm, she was always there for me through some hard times, and I have good memories of those days. My love and heartfelt condolences go to her wonderful family, who have been there for her day and night, she was their Queen and that is how she was treated.
She is going to leave a big gap in their hearts and lives, but their wonderful memories of the years gone by will stay with them for always.💔
With deepest sympathy
Joan, Jason and Steven x
