Ken

You bought so much happiness to my life and many others. I will particularly miss our Friday afternoon lunch together at the Physician. The time spent sitting in front of the log fire chatting about so many memories was very special. I think we both couldn’t wait to the next Friday came around again!
You always made Gill and myself laugh and those memories will stay with us forever. We will miss you Ken but you will always be with us. Rest easy my dear friend. I will always raise a glass to you whenever I go to the Physician again.

Love

When I received the message from Gill to say that you had passed I was deeply saddened. Which is not a usual feeling when I think of Ken as his warmth, friendship and joy always brought a smile to my face with his infectious smile and with a hint of mischievousness in his eyes. I will never forget what a kind man you were and will always remember our time together especially at the book fairs – especially the incident with the book that turned into a cash machine. Rest in peace knowing you was loved and will be greatly missed not only by me but your partner Gill and all your friends from the book world. Brian

Uncle Ken used to drive me to Cheltenham when I was at College there, easing the journey with laughter and chat.
Sending lots of love to Shirley and family.

your warmth and smiles are greatly missed by all your friends in Birmingham and Loughborough. especially Roxanne who visited you everyday you were in hospital after reading her work to ensure you did not feel alone; and four year old Kayla from Loughborough who spent time looking for you when she last visited. We would be privileged to join with your family and friends in Yorkshire together to add our final condolences.
Good night sweet prince. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest
rest in peace
Gillian
