David ArthurFAULKNER(1948-2026)

David Arthur Faulkner, of Sheffield and later Wales, passed away aged 78 on 19th March. Born in Stannington to Renee and Eric, he grew up in a large family and remained proud of his roots. He worked for many years at British Telecom, later moving into construction and support roles, and was known for his practical skills, strong work ethic, and easy sociability. He had a lifelong love of amateur dramatics, music, playing squash, walking, and model railways, and in later years was actively involved in community groups in North Wales.

David is survived by his daughters Sally and Kate, and his grandchildren Joseph and Henry.

The funeral will take place on Thursday 16th April 2026 at 1.00pm at St Cedol's Church, Pentir, followed by interment at Pentir Community Cemetery.
