My dear uncle John, yesterday was our little Marnie’s christening in the same Church and dress that I was christened in 37 years ago with you as my Godfather. We felt your presence yesterday and we talk about you all the time. We love and miss you so much Uncle John. Forever Young xxxx

Myself, my Mam Margaret and my son Jack have all just found out about John's passing. This has come as such a great shock to us all.
John was a great friend to me and my family. I have spent some great times with John when I lived in Birmingham. I can still hear his laugh now.
John always talked about his family to me and what you all meant to him.
We are all absolutely devastated
