GeoffFARNSWORTHGeoff Farnsworth passed away peacefully on Tuesday 17th January 2023, aged 82 years. Much loved husband of Joyce, dad to Adele and father in law in Keith. Loving grandad to Rebecca and her husband Adam. Also 'dad' to his little dog Jack. In his younger days Geoff trained as a gent's outfitter at Clayton Co-op but for most of his life he ran a successful newsagents and toy shop in Great Harwood with Joyce. He always had an interest in music, having been a member of the groups The Vikings and Apache as the drummer and vocalist in the late 50s and 60s. He also had a keen interest in all sports specifically participating in cricket, football, which he also refereed and golf. His funeral will take place at Accrington Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday 1st February at 11am. With a celebration of his life continuing afterwards at Great Harwood Golf Club. Smart casual clothing, black tie not necessary. Family flowers only but donations to be made to the North West Air Ambulance in memory of Geoff. Funeral Directors Brian Price & Son Chatburn
