Mum was the heart of our family — a wonderful mum, a proud grandma, and a cherished great-grandma to so many.
Although we had a large family, my relationship with Mum was a little different. I lived and worked further afield, so I cherished her in my own way, often from afar. That distance never lessened my love or gratitude for her — if anything, it made the time we shared even more special.
Her strength, warmth, and quiet love shaped the person I am today. I will always be thankful to call her my mum.
I will miss her deeply and carry her with me always.
