JuneEVANSThe family of June Evans are sad to announce that June passed away peacefully on Sunday 19th April at Willowbrook Nursing Home, aged 89.
Beloved wife of the late Albert, much loved mother of Julia, and a dear mother-in-law of Alan. Also a devoted and treasured grandmother of Nicola and Jessica, and a much loved great-grandmother of Oscar, Charlie and Eden. Also fondly remembered by Nicola's partner Ross.
Resting at Pidgeon's Chapel of Rest, until the funeral service there on Monday 18th May at 11.15am, followed by interment at Northern Cemetery at 12.30pm.
Family flowers only, although there will be a donation box for City Hospice at the Chapel.
The family would like to express our deepest thanks to all the health professionals who gave June such wonderful care over the past year, especially her Doctors, District Nurses and City Hospice.
After the funeral all are welcome to join the family at The Manor Parc Hotel, Thornhill for light refreshments.
