EdwardELDERBlades wishes to thank all those who helped and supported his mother, Betty Elder, during her illness. He is grateful to Dr Matthews, Dr Dougall, and the nurses and staff at Crieff Hospital who kept Betty comfortable to the end. Prayers, support, and kind assistance from family members and Betty's friends and neighbours were very much appreciated and valued. The Rev. Paddy Allen not only provided a wonderful celebration of Betty;s life at the funeral service, but also gave generous and welcome guidance and support to Edward, Carol and Lucy. Thanks are due to Betty's friends at St Columba's Church who attended the service and who did so much to help in many other ways, John Gauld and his colleagues at Gaulds Funeral Directors were a constant source of excellent help and advice, and delivered exemplary arrangements for all aspects of the funeral.
