BarbaraEDWARDS5.5.1956 - 4.3.2008 Barbara passed away at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital, on March 4, after a serious short illness, which was so bravely fought, and the cremation took place on March 17 at Glyntaff Crematorium. Partner Philip, mother Sylvia, sisters Susan and Carol, brothers John and Brian, stepsons James and Andrew, their partners and all nieces and nephews, would like to thank the extended family, such as aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends from Trebanog, Porth and Maerdy, and all Barbara's work colleagues for visiting her at home and hospital, in helping us through this heartbreaking period. We were overwhelmed by the attendance of so many at the funeral home in Penygraig, and later at Glyntaff. We know that it would have meant a lot to Barbara, to be loved and remembered by so many. Thanks to everyone for the many cards, beautiful flowers and personal tributes received. Special thanks are extended to the Rev A Evans for such a warm and loving service at both venues, also to David L Evans & Sons, for the dignity with which the whole occasion was carried out. Barbara will be greatly missed, but always remembered.
