Dr. George AlecEDWARDPeacefully on Thursday 18th July 2019 at the East Cheshire Hospice and after an illness borne with much courage and dignity, George aged 88 years of Macclesfield. The dearly loved Husband of the late Barbara Ann, a much-loved Father of Neil, Denise and Penelope, a loving Father in Law and a cherished Grandad. He will be sadly missed and most fondly remembered by his loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will take place at St. Barnabas Church, Macclesfield on Monday 12th August at 10.00 am, prior to a service of Committal at Macclesfield Crematorium at 11.20 am. Family flowers only by request, but donations if desired may be sent for Macmillan Cancer Support, East Cheshire Hospice, RNLI or Air Ambulance.
