William ArchibaldEDSER(Bill) born 25th Jan 1930. One of the few remaining members of the Surrey Middleton Cup team that last won the trophy. Sadly after an extended period of suffering Bill played his last wood. He had no children and was devoted to his wife Jean. When she died about 10 years ago things started to go downhill. Despite numerous operations and procedures Bill was stoic throughout and maintained his keen sense of humour. He died in the Royal Surrey County Hospital on Thursday 6th July. The funeral will take place at Woking Crematorium on Friday 4th August at 3:30pm, and afterwards at Mayford Hall Bowls Club, Saunders Lane, Mayford Woking.
