BrianEASTWOODPeacefully on 1st August 2025, Brian aged 86 years. Dearly beloved husband to Jill, much loved dad to Matthew and Beth, dear father-in-law to Phil, treasured grandad to Sean, Grace, Joy and Charlie, great grandad to Emilia, dear brother, brother-in-law uncle and friend to many, who will be sadly missed.

Service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 22nd August 2025 at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please but if desired a donation in lieu may be sent to Royal British Legion Haig House 199 High Borough Street London SE1 1AA .

It’s a few years since I’ve bumped into you in Healing , but I have lots of happy memories from working alongside Brian on the docks . We got up to some mischief ( loved the morning salute ) and he always made the workplace a nicer and happier place to be in . A true gentleman.
Rest easy Brian and it was a pleasure to have worked with you .

In 1995 we had recently moved into our new home when Brian and Jill called to introduce themselves as our new neighbours. 30 years later we can honestly say that we could not have wished for better friends and neighbours than Brian and Jill. I enjoyed my discussions with Brian ans he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
