JoanDOUGHTYBeloved wife of the late Stanley Edwin Doughty. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Joan Doughty who passed away peacefully at The George Eliot Hospital on 24th September 2022 in the 92nd year of her life. A funeral service of celebration for Joan's life is to take place on Wednesday 26th October 2022 at The Heart of England Crematorium at 11:45am. I didn’t get to choose who my mother in law would be, but if I had, I would still have chosen you.
You were not just my mother-in-law, you were my confidant, my support, and my best friend. We went everywhere together and had an amazing time I miss our day trips, holidays our weekly trips to the lunch clubs and party’s but remembering them with fondness they will always remain with me.
I miss you mum but knowing your reunited with dad and your heavenly family gives me comfort. sweet dreams mum I love you xx♥️xx

To the best nanny and great nanny anyone could ever ask for, may you rest in peace and be pain free, you will be dearley missed by many. You taught me so much and will treasure all those lovely memories for as long as i live, give grandad a kiss for me love you now and always nanny ❤️
