GeraldDOOLEYIt is with great sadness that we announce that Gerald passed away on Saturday 22nd August 2026 on ward 79 at Royal Stoke, he was 80 years old.
The dearly loved and devoted husband to Sheila, Adored dad of Mark and Paul, Cherished father-in-law of Kerry and Amanda. Proud grandad of Ryan, Callum, Keiran, Sian and Chelsea and a much loved "Big Grandad" to Chester, Albie, Darcy, Dougie and Arlo.
The family would like to thank Bradwell Nursing Home, in particular the staff of Audley Wing for their care, love and devotion given to Gerald and the kindness shown to Sheila. Also, a big thank you to the staff of ward 79 for their dedication.
Gerald requested a pure cremation but if anybody wishes to pay their respects the family will be holding a memorial at The Vine in Tunstall on 26th September 2026 from 1pm Onwards.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated in Geralds honour to Alzheimer's Society UK.
