JeanDEXTERElsie (nee Slater) Peacefully at home aged 86 years young Jean sadly passed away in the loving arms of John her husband of 63 years, and her adoring family. Loving and treasured mum of Anne, Jayne, Caroline and Ian, mother in law to Glyn, Michael, Martyn and Carolyn, cherished grandma 'Jean the Queen' to Mark, Rachael, Lauren, Bethanie, Jason, Natasha, Oliver, Mark and Simon, great grandma to Joshua, Charlie, Jack, Jacob, Poppy, Bump, Millie, Sam and Alex, grandma in law to Louise, Adam, Danielle, Gavin, Sharon and Sue, sister to the late Chris, sister in law to Joyce, Pam and the late Geoff. Mum touched the lives of so many people with her lovely smile and love of life. Our sincere thanks go to the Doctors and staff at Cambridge Avenue Medical Centre, Ward 22 Scunthorpe General Hospital, District and Community Nursing Team (South), Amber Care, Edmund House, Macmillan (Scunthorpe), also a big thank you to Bethan. A service to celebrate Jean's life is to be held at Woodlands Crematorium Scunthorpe on Wednesday 16th May at 15.20pm. Jean is resting peacefully at Co-op Funeralcare 2 Bottesford Road, Scunthorpe where flowers will be received or donations may be made to Macmillan Scunthorpe after the service. Jean lit up our lives with her beautiful smile and will be forever missed, sleep well.
