John GordonDEEREJohn Deere, sadly passed away on the 4th of August at Royal United Hospital Bath, following complications after a fall. Born in Llantwit Major on the 9th of August 1935, son of the late Ronald and Florence Elsie Deere of Saint Athan, John was a passionate advocate for the Arts, a devoted family man and a lifelong champion of socialist causes and human rights, whose intellectual curiosity and gentle nature touched many. John is survived by his two sisters, Mary and Jean, three children, Gareth, Daniel and Catherine, and his 11 grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriel, Ethan, Max, Angelina, Troy, Jezenya, Zac, Mia, Emma and Jacob. All are invited to pay their last respects to John. There will be a celebration of life service on the 29th August at 1.30pm at Cardiff Natural Burial Meadow, Coedarhydyglyn, Cardiff CF5 6SG.
